Virtual Laboratory
The CHN-STF Virtual laboratory is a place where anyone can learn skills, play with data, communicate with other scientists and carry out independent research.
It is jointly supported by the UW Center for Human Neuroscience and the UW Student Tech Fund.

You will watch a series of videos and do a series of mini-projects and quizzes to consolidate your knowledge. At the end of this you should have a basic understanding of neuroimaging. The Learn stage of our virtual laboratory also has links to LOTS of additional resources if you want to dig deeper.

you will carry out a series of little projects that lead up to you being able to examine how responses in a given brain area are related to psychological experience based on the CHN-STF neuroimaging database.
You will choose what to explore, out of over a million of possibilities.
You will learn how to search the academic literature, statistics, and a do little bit of coding & experimental design.

This is where you share the results of your research with the community and get feedback. You will learn how to report statistics, how to cite articles, and how to present your science in a way that is clear and interesting.
For inquiries related to our research programs, educational resources, or collaborative opportunities, please reach out using the contact form or the details provided. Our team is committed to supporting your interest in human neuroscience and will address your request with professionalism and confidentiality.
